The Commander (also known by other names) is a general occupation found in various branches, and specialize in communications and relaying information.

Despite the name, Commanders often don't shout orders to command and mostly relay on telecoms outside of the battlefield. "Commander" is more of a common name.

Commanders are often suited as office workers, especially if the Commander in question works in Maintenance or other non-combative facilities.

The Outfit

The Commander outfit is not similar in design to the usual Jumpsuit that the common empire's units wear, to help seperate the vastly different duties a Commander handles.

Outfit Details

The outfit has notable features around the torso and upper legs. The top has a colour-coded stripe for each shoulder, with the colouring depending on what branch the Commander works in. The gloves albeit durable are mostly part of the design and may help one blend in with the shadows due to the full-body concealment excluding the face[?]

The leggings have a pouch on each side for storing items, including small weapons. Some Commanders may also wear a utility belt to hold a Blaster or other items.

Purpose

Good communications makes a good army, so it's no doubt Commanders make all branches of the empire thrive by monitoring and relaying information to groups that can take action. When it comes to Maintenance, Commanders can be excellent managers and provide useful guidance to uncoordinated or uninitiated idle units to keep them active. Most Maintenance Commanders have access to cameras across facilities and help provide a schedule for every worker to start off.

Compared to other occupations, Commanders have a more domestic work evironment, residing inside of office-like facilities, sometimes mingling.

Depending on the Commander's reputation, proper work protocol is expected. Incompetence in Commanders especially Militia Commanders . High ranking Commanders have high expectations that they follow.

Recruiting Process

Despite the easy exterior of the occupation, most end up unsuitable to work as Commander. Being a Commander requires specific skills, such as self control and good communication skills, to keep up the composure.
